Detox smoothie recipe - by Co-founder, product developer, skincare therapist and lab technician, Anne Mette Koustrup

We've spent the first month of the year being good to ourselves and our bodies. I always try to listen to my body, and in this colder and darker time, I've really prioritized good, nutritious ingredients that are beneficial for digestion, skin, hair and well-being. My go-to detox smoothie is with juniper berries, thyme and a lot of other super foods, and you can get the recipe here 🌱
For 2 people
You will need
200 g frozen spinach
1 avocado
1-2 dl blueberries or other dark berries
2 oranges - peel and cut into small pieces
1 banana
Juice from 1 lemon, start by squeezing the first half into the smoothie and taste before you use the rest
2-3 dates (without stones)
3-4 tbsp. fresh thyme (alternatively 2 tbsp. dried thyme)
3-4 juniper berries (optional)
Approx. 1-1/2 dl water, depending on how thick or thin you want your smoothie
Blend everything into a smooth and velvety smoothie.
Pour into glass. We topped with chopped almonds, but you can use any kind of nut.
